I contain multitudes. While I don’t really dig a lot of popular media — like, I cannot get through even one episode of The Batchelor and the Real Housewives leave me cold — I still have a soft spot for easy TV, the kind where your brain doesn’t have to do much heavy lifting.
Some we have been enjoying that I would say are lighter/easy: Great British Baking Show, Agatha Raisin, Community (fast dialogue though), No Tomorrow, Chuck (rewatch), Hawaii Five-O (we are a couple seasons behind, watching on DVD), Legends of Tomorrow (CW). If you can find it (and like musicals and fast funny dialogue), the too-few episodes of Galavant. And for extra silliness, there's always Psych (rewatch).
Schitt’s Creek is sent from heaven. I am smitten with it & the stories. I have new heartthrobs too - Noah Reid/Patrick, Daniel Levy/David, Catherine O’Hara/Moira, Annie Murphy/Alexis & Eugene Levy/Johnny. ♥️

My easy TV is "Below Deck". It's a reality show about private yacht charters, the crew and the sometimes wacky mostly spoiled brat guests.
