I am among the lucky few who received her second Moderna shot last Monday. Everyone suggested I take the next day off, just in case I felt a little ill.
If you are looking for podcasts to obsess over, have you tried any made by the McElroy Family? My favorite is Sawbones a marital tour of misguided medicine, put together by Justin McElroy and his wife Sydnee, who is a family physician. There is also MBMBAM by the McElroy brothers and several more. I can't recomend Sawbones highly enough I got a somewhat late start, but I binged through all 8 years of it and now I can't wait for a new episode every year. The first episode from June 21 2013 sets a great tone for the show.
I love your use of footnotes. I'll have to figure out which Canadian service offers Hulu based documentaries because anytime I hear anything about Adam Neumann (WeCrashed) he sounds like such a celery stick I can't figure out how anyone fell for anything he said. Maybe seeing footage will help explain it.
Adrienne! Thanks to you I just bought a 5 film pass to the Hot Docs festival so I could see WeWork as of the end of the month. And yes, I checked, but it's only streaming in Canada.
Celery stick came from when our kids were young and their friends were acting like assholes but I obviously couldn't say that about an 8 year old.
I am so excited to find your blog - it will always bring a smile to my face!! Two documentaries I just watched on Disney+ - Elephants and Penguins! The animal kingdom is wise way beyond any human's ability to understand true animal instincts. The photography in both is the super stellar Disney standard, great stories support both movies. Then go watch the making of thee movies - incredible dedication and passion from the camera and production crew!

I keeping meaning to add Sawbones to my playlist. I'll do it now.

I have a footnote problem -- and I wish I could use them everywhere.
Also: I will now work "such a celery stick" into everything I can.

Second Moderna today. Felt like hot garbage within 9 hours. Blech. Anyway - watching Seaspiracy now. Meant to be really good.
Hope you are feeling better, Carol!

I'll check them out, Julie!
